The Kingfisher Bikini Calendar, or the Kingfisher Calendar, is a calendar published by the United Breweries Group of India annually since 2003 that features models in swimsuits, inspired by the Pirelli Calendar. Described by Rediff as "arguably the most prestigious [modelling assignment] in India", it is credited with advancing the careers of models and actresses like Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone,Yana Gupta, Ujjwala Raut, Nargis Fakhri, Bruna Abdullah, Lisa Haydon, Karishma Kotak and Angela Jonsson.[1] Photographer Atul Kasbekar has been associated with the calendar since its inception. Kasbekar along with Vijay Mallya are credited with creating the idea of the annual Kingfisher Calendar.
