V Danayya under Universal Media banner.[5] The film marks the second time Ram Charan and Kajal are paired together after Magadheera. The soundtrack was composed by S. Thaman.It was dubbed into tamil as Naayak [6] The film began shooting in February 2012.[7] The film was released worldwide on January 9, 2013.

Zanjeer (English: Shackles) is an upcoming Indian action film directed and produced byApoorva Lakhia simultaneously shot into Hindi and Telugu.^[2] It is a remake of the Hindi1973 film of the same name.The film is scheduled to release on May 10, 2013

Director Apoorva Lakhia has signed up Telugu Mega Star Chiranjeevi's son Ram Charan Teja ^[4] and Priyanka Chopra for the lead roles.^[5][6] Prakash Raj has been roped in to play the character of Teja.^[7] There were reports that Sonu Sood and Arjun Rampal were being considered for the role of Sher Khan. It was also reported that Sanjay Dutt who cast for the role.^[8] In September 2012, The Times of India reported that both Arjun Rampal and Sanjay Dutt opted out citing date issues and the makers have finalized Sonu Sood for the role.^[9]Bindu's iconic 'Mona Darling' act is now being taken over by Mahi Gill, after talks with actresses Jacqueline Fernandez, Mallika Sherawat and Malaika Arora Khan fell through.^[10] Lead actor of the original Zanjeer, Amitabh Bachchan is said to play a guest role in the film.^[11] Atul Kulkarni will be seen in a new role in this film.
