Sonakshi Sinha (born 2 June 1987) is an Indian Bollywood actress. She marked her debut in the Hindi film industry with 2010's Dabangg opposite Salman Khan, which went onto become the highest grossing Bollywood film of the year. In 2012, Sinha appeared inRowdy Rathore and Joker, alongside Akshay Kumar. Sinha will be starring in the upcoming films Arbaaz Khan's Dabangg 2 and Vikramaditya Motwane's Lootera.

Lootera (Hindi: लूटेरा | English: Kind Thief) is an upcoming Bollywood romance drama filmdirected by Vikramaditya Motwane. The film features Ranveer Singh opposite Sonakshi Sinha in the lead roles.^[1] The storyline will be partly inspired by American author O Henry’s short story The Last Leaf.^[2] The film is scheduled to release on July 5, 2013.
